Description: Selected by student curator Qootsvenma “Taka” Denipah-Cook (Ohkay Owingeh) for his exhibition in the 2018 Eye Opener Hands-On exhibition.

I chose this for two reasons, the first being I enjoy fishing. It’s relaxing and a good way to relieve stress. The second is the inlaying of the shell was beautiful to me.
