Description: Take a moment to take a deep breath and look at the incredible detail of this beaded horse mask, holding generations of history. Created by Joyce Growing Thunder, a living legend, its spectacular beadwork unites tradition and innovation. Joyce began to bead as a child, taught by her grandmothers. Joyce’s daughter and granddaughters carry on the tradition. Art has an important story for us especially now, one of patience, perseverance, and generational connection.
