Description
The ambiguity that shrouds the Torajan sword fascinates me. I wonder if this sword was used for hunting or for defending from other tribes or peoples. I love that this sword survived, even when it wasn’t dripping in gold or jewels. It was kept, cherished, and used. —Roan Mulholland, Hands-On Student Curator, 2018
